This is a nice snappy little Remington Premier manual typewriter which was made in Holland sometime in the 1960s. Mechanically, this machine is in near-mint working condition and is fully functional right down to the bell.

This ultra-portable typewriter is reliable and in great condition. It has built-in spools, so new ribbon must be thread directly into the machine. For your convenience, a fresh new purple ribbon has been installed for immediate use.

The brittle plastic tray and ribbon cover is a simple mechanism made with of quality materials. This machine may remind you of other popular portables from this era, like the Smith-Corona Corsair. It does not come with a ribbon color selector, no tab, or anything fancy on this typewriter. It imprints neatly and legibly. The carriage hangs down from raised hinges, so that when you shift, you are making it swing forward a bit. This is a very easy motion and a good mechanical idea.

If you are looking for a simple typewriter that doesn't pretend to be fancy, then this is the machine you want to get.
