These Hermès portables are remarkable machines. At first glance, they don't appear rugged, but soon you'll take her everywhere. Now, that's what we like to call an iconic typewriter.

Everything feels solid: Hermès has no equal when it comes to this size of a typewriter. And it's is just the right size for packing along on your travels, allowing you to keep up with your letter-writing hobby, working on your novel, poetry or correspondence -- all while you are on the road, air or train. The typewriter base makes the bottom half of the case, which pops on and off with a nice click to reveal those luscious mint-green keys that just beg to be put to use. A couple of features you may love are the built-in paper guide and the travel lock. You may even discover that sliding the carriage to the left, folding the little return lever back, while giving just the right push to the little button that sets the line spacing, center locks the carriage when it is slid back to the right. A sweet trick of a sweet little machine.
